History

  • The 30th of June 1936, in Brasov – Romania, PREROM was established, a share hold company, specialized in panel instruments for aircraft industry manufacturing.
  • In 1941, PREROM bought (absorbed) a small company, named TARTLER, specialized in the electric motors manufacturing.
  • In 1946, the equipment for aircraft industry manufacturing was stopped, as a consequence of the political changes after the WW II.
  • In 1948, the company was nationalized and renamed ELECTROPRECIZIA
  • In 1949, due to the increased production, the company was moved on the actual location, having as main activity the manufacturing of electric motors.
  • In 1953, ELECTROPRECIZIA has started to manufacture electric equipment for tractors and trucks made in Romania.
 
 
  • During 1965-1975 there were made significant investments in production lines for starters, alternators, dash boards, distributors and relays, in accordance with the SERI-DUCELLIER-JAEGER licenses. In the same time, it was also intensely developed the manufacturing of electric motors.
  • In 1998, the privatization of the company was accomplished.
  • In August 2009, inside ELECTROPRECIZIA there have created several modules as individual units:
